SCREM specializes entirely in residential property management. Our only business is the leasing and management of homes and condominiums. This website allows the client to view available properties across Santa Clarita, Antelope Valley, San Fernando Valley and Tehachapi.  Secondly, the site allows home owners to rent their homes and be managed by SCREM for maintenance requests, rental payments and more.

The Challenge

Our client has an established rental management business for both owners of homes who want to rent, and people who want to find a rental. Divi Dojo’s challenge was to integrate 2 different third party sites to their main showcase site screm.com. Both third party sites require set up within their respective sites, then adding in code and styling to their main site.

We have effectively added the code and styled the design elements so the experience for the user is seamless and a positive experience. Owners and renters both view the screm.com website before becoming a client, so the site stands as a first point of contact and first establishment of trust.

Design & Development

First and foremost, we met with the client and discussed what the goals and desired outcomes from there site. We worked with the client to develop a general wireframe for the flow and functionality of the site. After approval of the wireframe, we went to designing the homepage to establish the look and feel as well as setting the tone for giving the wireframe plan a design.

With Divi, we designed this site to make it very easy for the client to make any monthly changes they wish. We also have a monthly maintenance plan established for any more complicated changes or additions as well as monthly updates for plugins and WordPress versions.

After we established the look and feel, and flow of the homepage, we then designed the rest of the secondary pages of the site. Following the wireframe, we then began to integrate all the custom pieces from ShowMojo, which is providing the ability to search and book showings for rental listings.
